I feel like people always want healthy food. They would even be willing to choose healthy food over delicious unhealthy options. Undoubtedly, our bodies crave healthy food. We need vitamin rich foods delivering the best of the best to our hungry bodies. But the truth is , healthy food has a rep of not tasting as good as fries or a chocolate cake. Our taste buds want the syrups and the sugars. We adore the fatty oils and the butters. We enjoy the extra spike in sodium. The leaves on a salad don’t quite satisfy us. We cringe even thinking about raw veggies. (Unless theirs a fatty dip present)

This is no longer the case! My father-in-law has mastered this balance quite well. It’s different when you come to his house. You will get a dose of veggies along with whole grains and the least fattening meat possible. That’s just what this spaghetti with ground turkey and vegetables is. It’s like you just walked into Piada and loaded up your bowl. Except I think this tastes SO much better. I call it the all-in-one dish: The food pyramid at its finest. You get your grain group, your veggie group, meat, and dairy group! Heck, doesn’t science classify tomatoes as a fruit? In that case, fruit group too!
