Ok, so I am probably over exaggerating on how awesome this minuet suggestion is, but my family gobbles it up in seconds. And the best part is, my toddler eats it like candy. So to create something a whole family can enjoy in less than 60 seconds is something worth writing about.
So what am I obsessing over? Drum roll please: Cheese cubes with pretzels stuck in them. Go ahead, roll them eyes. Murmur how silly I am. But have you ever tried it? First of all, it tastes SO good. Far better than the darn cracker we’ve all been eating for the last ten thousand years.
Secondly, it’s a one-reach type of food. In the grasp of your two fingers, you are able to combine the idea of a “cracker” already placed over top of a cheese slice, without the hovering and time delay of finding the cracker and cheese slice separately.
And lastly, it only takes seconds to make this. You take a bag of cheese cubes of your choice and break some pretzel sticks in half. Put those sticks right into the cheese cubes and there you go! Yum and so fast. And your kids will love it.
As a matter of fact, children would love to make this for themselves as a snack. It’s a great way to introduce food preparation in a very simply and clean manner.
I hope you all find this simple switch-out to be delicious and a huge time savior.
